AMERICANS DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SWIM!!!!.. Susannah has developed innovative

and patience, she has much success in teaching adults (and children) to relax
in the water through swimming, while overcoming a life-long block.
COACHING
While with the U of Florida Gators, she had the opportunity to coach under
some of the top Olympic Swim Coaches in the world (6 Olympic swimmers were
present). Susannah was nicknamed "The Miracle Worker." She later went on to
coach the Swim San Diego Team, started 2 swim teams, and has trained numerous
triathletes. Susannah puts a strong emphasis on efficient stroke technique,
proficient streamlining, distance and interval training - for the competitive
and lap swimmer.
WATER REHABILITATION
Susannah has been working with physical therapists, developing water
rehabilitation for sports injuries, back problems, strokes, knee and hip
replacements, and most major illnesses. She developed an Aquatic Rehab
program for a Rehab Hospital. The unique properties of water’s buoyancy and
added resistance allow for a faster, less painful and more cost-effective
recovery. Susannah can develop a sport-specific training and rehab program
for the athlete. She can also work with the bed-ridden patient.
Through the years, Susannah Ensign has established a reputation as a "Miracle
Worker" in all aspects of swimming. She and her staff are highly qualified
in numerous aquatic disciplines: Teaching children, encouraging the
non-swimmer, coaching the competitive swimmer, and working with injury
rehabilitation.
Susannah attributes much of her success to her motivated attitude, years of
experience, knowledge and patience. She and her eminently qualified staff
are looking forward to helping you achieve your goals.
